2. Visiting this website

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically records technical data in server log files. This includes your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the referring website, the browser and operating system used, and the amount of data transferred.

We process this data to deliver the website, to ensure its security and stability, and to detect misuse. We do not combine it with other data sources. Log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., Cyprus, a provider within the European Union. The provider processes data only on our behalf and according to our instructions.

3. Cookies, tracking and analytics

This website does not use cookies, tracking technologies, analytics tools or social media plug-ins.

4. Google Fonts

To display fonts consistently, this website loads fonts from Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When a page is loaded, your browser connects to Google's servers, which transmits your IP address and technical browser data to Google. This data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. Such transfers are safeguarded through recognised mechanisms such as the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Further information is available in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Contacting us and flight requests

If you contact us by email or phone, or use the request form on this website, we process the data you provide, such as your name, company, email address, phone number and details of the requested flight, to handle your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out the agreed services.

The request form does not send data to our server. It prepares an email in your own email program, which you then send to us yourself. Your data reaches us only when you send that email.

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle the request and for any statutory retention periods, in particular under Swiss commercial and tax law.

6. Applications to our crew pool

If you apply to join our crew pool, we process the documents you send us, such as your CV, licences, type ratings, flight hours and contact details, to assess your application and to contact you about suitable assignments. With your consent, we keep your application in our crew pool for future missions. You can withdraw this consent at any time.

7. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell personal data. We disclose personal data only where this is necessary to provide our services, for example to authorities, airports, handling agents, fuel suppliers or other service providers involved in planning and operating a flight, where we are legally obliged to do so, or to service providers processing data on our behalf (such as our hosting and email providers).

Because our services are international, data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA. Where these countries do not offer adequate data protection, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or rely on a statutory exception, in particular where the transfer is necessary to perform a contract with you.

8. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The website is delivered over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

9. Your rights

Within the scope of applicable data protection law, you have the right to:

To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@gp-aviation.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The version published on this website applies.
